Men benefited more in pain relief from marijuana


The researchers analyzed the data from two double-blinded, placebo-controlled studies. They looked at the analgesic effects of marijuana in 42 respondents who were recreational marijuana smokers.
Some were given active marijuana to smoke and others smoked a placebo form of marijuana. The respondents were then asked to immerse their hands in a cold-water bath until the pain became unbearable - mail order weed online. It was followed by a short pain questionnaire which the respondents had to answer.
Among those who smoked active cannabis, men reported a significant decrease in sensitivity and an increase in pain tolerance. But women did not notice any remarkable decline in pain sensitivity, albeit they reported a slight increase in pain tolerance immediately after smoking active cannabis.
None of them, neither a man nor a woman, reported any differences in his or her level of intoxication or the extent of the effect of the active marijuana.

Marijuana Use May Increase Risk of Testicular Cancer

Smoking marijuana may increase men's risk of testicular cancer, a new study from the University of Southern California (USC) finds. This new study discovered that men who smoked weed or marijuana were twice as likely as men who had not to get a dangerous form of the disease.
