Going to college is another step one takes in order to have a better future. It is clearly understood all over the world that people who want to have a good high-paying job should have at least an undergraduate college degree. It is also a stage in life where big decisions have to be made such as "What school should I enrol in?", "What course should I take?" and "Where will I stay during college?" These are just some of the other hundred questions aspiring and incoming college students should answer.

The first two questions you may want to decide on that on your own. It is a decision which you will have to stick to for the rest of the four or five years of your college life. However, I may help you on the third question, "Where will I stay?"

A lot of students dream on studying in famous universities where education is at its best, along with the facilities and privileges. I bet you also want to study in these universities, but your home is in the province. You can't go back and forth every single day; it is very expensive I tell you. You need a place which is within the university's reach. It may be in a boarding house, in an apartment, in a condominium, or in a dormitory. Each of the options has their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of cost, accessibility, convenience, how it is conducive to studying, etc. However, because our topic is on dormitories, let's just stick with that - Kocaeli yurtlar.

Is it good for a first-year college student to stay in a college dormitory? Dormitories vary in amenities and facilities. Some dormitories have high-class rooms and home-like features. However, these dormitories cost more. If you prefer low-cost rooms, do not expect it to be like your room in your house. So the first thing to remember, adapt. Do not complain and don't be picky. I am sure college dormitories are liveable. Examine first all the facilities and the places you would probably always use or go to. Check the comfort and bath rooms. Look for a study area if your room is not conducive for studying. Find the water dispenser, Wi-Fi hotspots, and other necessities you may need.
